Single RIB Seat Swivel – Driver Boxer/Ducato X250 – Suitable for Vans 2006-Present – OffsetManufactured in France, the Single RIB Seat Swivel – Driver Boxer/Ducato X250 – Suitable for Vans 2006-Present – Offset offers campervan self-builders a solid construction and smooth mechanism.The swivel plates fit between the base and seat slider rails on standard seats and pivot on a central point.They carry European TUV safety approval and lock securely facing forward for driving.Each kit includes the swivel plate, raising shims, and bolts to fit standard seat boxes.To rotate your seat:Turn off the vehicle engine and release the handbrake temporarilyOnce the seat is facing the back of the vehicle, you can then re-engage the handbrakeIf your seat can adjust up and down, raise it as needed to allow the seat to rotate freely without catching.The swivel base’s offset feature shifts the pivot point a few centimetres toward the handbrake, positioning the seat slightly further from the door.This makes it easier to spin seats in vehicles with armrests.On some vans, the plastic handbrake cover, rubs on the swivel seat and may need to be removed.Please note that this base will raise the seat by approximately 43mm.
