This makes it tricky to enter or exit the van without getting wet.The water channel sits above the door aperture as a discreet moulding and redirects water, pushing it forward over the top and down the side of the window.Installation is simple. The moulding comes with permanent double-sided adhesive pre-applied. Just de-grease the area above your door opening and press firmly to create a strong bond.Although the double-sided tape provides a good bond, we recommend securing the final 100 mm of the gutter profile with flexible polyurethane glue, such as Sikaflex 221 or FC-40 (or a similar product from your local hardware store). This additional adhesive prevents the trim from peeling back in high-speed wind, such as on the motorway.
